Winter Walk

As soon as Easton and I walked through the door today after school, he had his snow clothes on. (I wouldn't let him go out yesterday because he had a runny nose) He wanted to have a snowball fight but I wasn't up to it. So we went and fed the chicken and he found this awesome icicle. As soon as Mason got home from being with Grandpa, Easton pegged him in the face with a snowball. I ended up getting Easton back for Mase with a good white wash session :)
And this little boy is something else! The other day we were getting ready to go to Price. I cooked grilled cheese sandwiches and had told Mase if he would eat 3 bites I would buy him a happy meal. He WAS NOT going to try it at all. I wasn't going to force it but he know I stick to my guns about stuff like that. After a bit he came up to me and said. "Mommy I don't want a Happy Meal, I just want a Sad Meal." Yep like that solved the problem!
After playing for a bit we went for what Easton called a "winter walk". We walked down to see the new baby calves, which are super cute! We had a fun time and got pretty muddy walking home :)
Easton and Mase also took a 45 minute bath... (love it when they want to stay in that long)

February

February so far has been a lot of fun! We spent the first weekend up in Provo/Orem watching Kimberly dance for State Drill. We had fun with Justin's family and it was good to see them. We took the kids (BryLee, Easton and Mason) to Chuck E Cheese and then we ate at Red Lobster. It was super yummy and always full of a lot of laughs! The next morning we woke up to tragedy. The wind had blown the chicken coop door open and someones dogs got into the chickens. There were feather and bodies everywhere! Easton and Mason were heartbroken! Easton was especially sad since we couldn't find "yellow's" body. We went to church and were all upset about it. That evening Justin looked up towards to coop and saw a chicken. We ran out there and I was praying it was yellow, and it was! We were SO happy! I grabbed the chicken and ran inside to show Easton. He was so glad too. Yellow was hurt but is doing well and will survive.
Grandpa had to take the boys out to a neighbors farm to get some mangers. It was cold and they were going on the tractor and pulling a flat trailer. Grandpa hooked the bike trailer onto the flat trailer for the boys to ride in. They stayed warm and even fell asleep on the way home! Always good times with Grandpa!
Love my boys!
Valentines Day was a lot of fun! I got up extra early to make Justin breakfast. I made pink pancakes and wanted to make them into hearts. Well I ended up melting my cookie cutter in the process! Ha! I had Justin's present ready but decided to drag it out all day. I sent him clues through out the day. Some I emailed, texted, facebooked, and some I had my students send or other teachers deliver! It was a lot of fun, and I felt so clever! When we got home we gave the boys their gifts (Mario figures and treats) and then we gave each other our gifts. Justin gave me 2 necklaces and earrings. They are gorgeous and I love them. I surprised Justin with a pass to go indoor skydiving, surfing and rock climbing!
We woke up this Saturday with a lot of snow! It snowed most of the day. Dad and Grandpa went snowmobiling. The boys and I went out and played in it for a while. We tried building a snowman but out snow was so wet that it just fell apart! We had a snowball fight and then came in and at grill cheese sandwiches!
This next week is State Basketball. Both Carbon and Emery Girls made it! We are super excited and I have some fun things planned for while we are in Salt Lake!
Mason wanted to help blog and wrote this... It means Santa Clause and Mason oiibiogh98oogi7j8t89r7utiohojki8ofprgthjtyuiogiu[i8uuiyuouihuigjkghojiojughyhughihy7futytygh7g8g7tg6fgi8gyu mason mnmnmnmnmnmnmnmnmnmnnmmnmnnmnnmmnnmmnmnmmnmnmn

Easton went on a field trip to the library a few days ago. They read about pirates and he come home with this. Mason and Easton have been taking turns wearing it, and saying "ARRRRGGGG". Mason likes to say "Shiver me timber" and "Yo ho ho."! Mason even wanted to wear it to one of the basketball games! Mason sure loves chocolate!!!! I swear, (but I don't) that if there is anything sweet in the house he will eat it. Especially if it is chocolate or cake :)
I am loving the Easton is learning how to draw details and "actual" people. He has such an imagination at times that you never know what he is actually drawing! This day he drew a picture of "Princess" off of The Super Mario Brothers.
The boys have been having a blast playing with Meah. They have such a love/hate relationship. They pick on her and she growls at them. Of course, we get mad at them. However, as soon as the boys aren't paying attention to her, she is nipping their ankles or hiding their shoes from them!
Mason assuming the position to watch some major cartoons!!!! This kid loves to be comfortable.
P.S. I can't wait for Valentines. I bought Justin an awesome present! He is going to be stoked! However, Easton heard me talking about it, and I'm afraid he is going to slip up on it! I have threatened Easton with the Wii if he tells! Hopefully he can hold out for 12 more days!

This week....

I made a birthday cake for Mervin's suprise party....
We had a campout in the living room, 2 nights in a row... and maybe a third time if I don't get out beds put back in the bedroom! Mason ate a lot of donuts after church. He was super hungry and they were super yummy -according to him...
Easton wanted to take a picture of Me and Mason. Of course Mason wouldn't look at the camera...
Yep, it was another amazing week!

This week has been a lot of the normal. Whatever that is.... We went to Boys Basketball games, wrestling and the doctor.... I've had some problems with my back, and finally went to figure it out. The doctors want me to try PT for awhile and see if that helps... Easton got sick on Thursday. I knew it was something more than a cold, so I took him in and found out he has Strep. YUCK! I opted for the shot instead of dealing with daily medication. I didn't realize that they would give him the shot in the hip! (Flashbacks from the bat incident)... He was tough though and only cried for a minute.
We also went and stayed in Lehi for the weekend. Justin had his Winter Conference. We went and ate at Texas Roadhouse and the boys really enjoyed eating peanuts and throwing them on the floor! I made a cake for Corbin's 16th Birthday last night when we got home.
Today is our 7 year aniversary:)... Seriously where does the time go?! I am so grateful for such a wonderful, caring, amazing husband and father. I love him so much and can't wait to spend another 7 with him. In our 7 years we have moved 7 times, graduted from college, got jobs, and had 2 kids! It's been amazing:)

I just love these two boys!!! They are best friends and know how to make me laugh! Don't know what I would ever do without them! This was Mason's first time in Primary. He has been really excited to go because he has never really liked nursery. His teach is Lannie, which he is really happy about. They made these cute little crowns and he wore it all day! I asked him what he learned in Primary and he told me that he learn the Itsy Bitsy Spider :)
Mason has really been into Cheese and Crackers lately. Grandpa is so nice and will sit and cut up cheese for a long time :)
Easton and his "Penguino". He is so dramatic lately. The things he comes up with crack me up!
I made a cake this week for Austyn. It turned out really cute, and I am getting better with fondant.
The boys in glasses that they got from Austyn's Birthday Party... :)
