We kept up on our yearly tradition of going and getting a Christmas tree right after Thanksgiving. Swayzie was armed and ready :)
'
We went with a red and green theme, and I love it! Plus the smell of a fresh tree in our new house was great!
Swayzie loves Figaro. He's awesome to ride in the stroller and be wrapped in blankets.
We had night in Excellence and I made 25 of these Fluffala trees. They turned out awesome and were a big hit!
We went to a tournament in Spanish Fork. Poor Easton really got his back jarred. I was really worried. He finished the match and even wrestled the one after it. He's one tough kid.
I made this tree for the kids, in hopes that it would deter Swayzie from tearing down our real tree.
I made this tree topper for our tree. It was a bit crazy, but love how it turned out!
One of my friends made these stockings for me. I love how they ended up looking. It was perfect match for our tree.
Easton turned 8. He was so excited to be baptized. For his party he took Logan and Jerzie bowling and had a fun time.
We went and saw Santa in Clawson. The boys enjoyed it, Swayzie not so much! I still made her take a picture though :)
Working on building my dining room set.
I love getting these letters from my students. They usually make me cry, and make me remember how much I love my job.
Justin lost a contest at school, and had to wear this around all day. It was quite hilarious!
Swayzie got her gift from her secret Santa from my mommy group, which ended up being Ryan. It was Sophia stuff and a book. She was so excited to have a new toy!
Easton was baptized and it turned out to be an awesome day. Justin's family was able to come down, and share the day with him. So proud of him and the choice he's made to be baptized.
While Justin's family was here, our naughty elf painted the kids (and Jon's) faces. Too bad he found a permanent maker. The kids looked a little silly the next morning going to church.

Christmas Eve Swayzie got sick. I ended up sitting at home with her, while the rest of the family ate crab and had Christmas Eve dinner. She woke up Christmas morning okay, but then over the next few days, just wasn't feeling good. I finally took her in to the dr. and she ended up having tonsillitis, bronchitis, and an UTI. Poor girl. I ended up missing the Bruderer Christmas part to stay home with her. I was just glad it was Christmas break so I could just stay home and cuddle with her.
Swayzie was finally feeling better so we had a New Year's Eve party at our house. All the cousins and family came over. It was a good night, with lots of yummy food!
