Bear Lake

This last weekend we went and spent 3 days at Bear Lake with Justin's family. Even though the drive there was horrible (it took us 9 1/2 hours, because our truck broke down), it was a lot of fun. We stayed in a nice grassy area that had bathrooms and showers. It was my first time EVER being able to blow dry my hair while camping! We only had to drive a few minutes to get to the beach. Justin's Uncle and Aunt, cousins and kids came up too. It was so much fun to be able to visit with everyone and let our kids play together. Easton and Mason mostly played in the sand, digging and making sand castles. Bryan and Meghan brought up a water trampoline that they had a lot of fun on. The best part was that the water was shallow for up to 75+ yards, so the kids could go out as far as they wanted!
All the family that came up and visited!

Summer Fun!

The boys disappeared for a while. Justin went and looked out the window, and he found them making this huge mess! Easton and Mason and filled the wagon with dirt and were adding water to the mixture. To top it all off they added themselves to the mess! I ended up changing their clothes 3 times that day, cause they kept going back for more. For FHE we decided to go roast hotdogs. My dad had 2 teepees set up for a different activity, so we went there. It was awesome weather, and there wasn't very many mosquitos. The boys love hotdogs, especially over a fire. It was so much fun. My dad had built a swing and the boys had fun playing on it and climbing the trees. Oh, and there always had to be time for a potty-break!
This was the view as we were driving the fourwheelers home.
It is such a beautiful place to live! I LOVE IT!

Finally an update!

Okay, I still haven't got my computer fixed, and probably have lost everything that was on it, but I did figure out how to edit some pictures on another computer I have. So here is a bunch of pictures from the last month or so!
Easton caught a ladybug down in the field, he was so excited to bring it home. (I was surprised that it even made it home, clenched in his dirty little hands, for a good 1/2 hour) We put it in his bug catcher and allowed him to keep it overnight. We feared it would die, and really break his heart, so we insisted that it needed to be let go. Well that broke his heart anyways. After a lot of tears he finally opened his hand and let it fly away. Who would have thought that he would fall in love with a little ladybug!
For Justin's birthday we went camping with my cousins up on the mountain. There were tons of bugs, but the boys had a lot of fun. The spent a lot of time playing in the water and exploring around the trees. There were logs that went across the stream and Easton wanted to go across it so bad. He kept trying and getting scared. He finally got the courage and made it across. I was proud of him for overcoming his fears!
We bought the boys a new swimming pool. We try to spend a lot of time out there, but Mason thinks that it is funny to put shovels full of dirt into the water. So I need to figure out a new way of keeping him from doing that so I don't have to clean it every time we go out to swim!
We had a good 4th of July. We went on the mountain and had a picnic, went to a parade, and did fireworks. I don't have any pictures other than this one of the boys, because my battery died. I will have to steal some from my dad and try to get them posted soon!

Happy Birthday Justin!

I am posting this a few days late, because I am just having time to do this. However, our computer crashed so I won't have any pictures to post. Hopefully it will be fixed in the next few days though. Justin turned 25 on Wednesday. We went up north the day before to pick up something for his birthday. After talking about possible options I told him to decide what he wanted. It honestly took ALL DAY for him to make up his mind. He ended up getting a new release for his bow, and new goose decoys.. (boring right??) I was leaning toward a flat screen t.v., or ipod touch, but you know, whatever floats his boat! Who knew someone could be so excited over plastic geese! Anyways, we decided to go camping for his birthday, it was a lot of fun, and so warm. The boys got to play in the creek and Justin did a lot of fishing. Everyone had a good time and was very wore out by the time we got home. I have tons of pictures that will come soon! Justin, we love you so much. Thanks for everything you do! Happy Birthday!

Park Fun

The boys and I decided to head to the Park today to get some energy out. They of course had tons of fun. Mason is pretty brave and will go up and down about anything that Easton does. This park has a splash pad that we were hoping to play in. However, it wasn't turned on. Our luck would have it, that as soon as we got in the truck to come home, it turned on! Guess we will just have to go back and play again! I'm sure the boys won't mind!
