Brothers, Friends, and Rocks

I took these pictures of the boys the other day while down feeding cows. They really do love each other. Mason looks up to Easton so much. We laugh because Mason runs exactly like Easton-which isn't a good thing-. We always say it is a learned behavior. Easton can talk Mason into doing anything and everything. If Easton does it then so does Mason. They are the best of friends.
Mason LOVES to read. After we get done reading our books everynight, Mason always takes one to bed with him and "reads" to himself. The other day while getting ready for work I caught Mason and Meah on the bed "reading" together. It was sooo cute! Mason was pointing out all the animals to her, and explaining what sounds they make. Meah wasn't very interested, but with some force from Mason she listened to every word.
My dad has had this HUGE rock in his hayfield. The whole thing hasn't been above the ground but it is in the way. He hired a guy to come and try digging it out. Well when they got it all dug out they realized it was gigantic! They couldn't get it out of the hole so they pushed to over so it isn't so tall. This picture shows how big it is!

Accoding to Easton

I just have to laugh at the awsome things Easton comes up with. I wish I could be inside his head for a few minutes!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Yesterday my dad had to do a lot of work on the backhoe. So the boys were up with him all afternoon while I was at work. I went to pick them up after I got home, and they were very excited to see me. I always ask them what they have been doing, and if they have had fun. Our conversation went something like this...
Mommy- Easton did you have fun with Grandpa?
Easton- Ya, but it was a little borin'
Mommy- oh ya, that sometimes happens
Easton- I can't wait to have a wife to do all the work.
Mommy- ha, well it is usually the husband that does the dirty work
Easton- Well, I'll make my wife do it all.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Then last week on our way up to go camping, the boys and I were in the truck following my dad who was on the fourwheeler. My dad served around a big hole in the road and Easton exclaimed...
" Wow, that Grandpa is an amazing driver!"

Happy Easter

We had an awesome Easter.

Went camping close to home, had fairly decent weather.

The Easter Bunny found us.

Got enough candy to last until next year.

Got to play in the dirt.

Came home with enough dirt on each of us to fill a sandbucket

Boys and Fun

The boys loving swinging on the gates while we feed the cows and horses. They have to be pushed at least a few times before we can leave.
I sold my Jeep Friday night. Saturday morning we headed to Richfield, and Justin bought a fourwheeler. It's pretty sweet, and the boys love riding it. I haven't seen my hubby smile so much in a long time!

Sunday Walks

We went for a Sunday afternoon walk today. The boys were excited to find rocks, climb trees, and be outside. Justin was excited to find a 4 point shed. I was just excited!

All Because of Preschool

Easton has learned so much from Preschool. He loves to come home and talk about everything he was learned. This has made Mason very excited to learn. He currently knows pretty much all of his letters and their sounds! It is so cute to hear them talking together about the letters they see and the sounds that they make.

Funny story, Easton's school does a quarterly report on the things that he knows. The first time under nursery rhymes known it said, "Little Einsteins ?". I guess when they asked him to tell them a nursery rhyme he broke into song. We have worked on this and he does know a lot of them.
