My dad has been working on our house like crazy!   We were rushing to get the whole dug, and so he spent a lot of hours on it.
The boys had a wrestling tournament in Moab on the 23rd.  Since we were going down anyways, we decided to go to Arches. Justin hasn't ever been.  We found the back-pack and Swayzie loved it!  She looked so high and might
We went down the night before and stayed. Erik, Brianna, and Vance also joined us.  We ate at a little diner that was attached to our motel.  They had a guy singing and playing his guitar. It was really neat.
Eastin did such a great job.  He wasn't feeling the greatest and had been freezing (no fever) since the night before,.  His first match was against a kid from Carbon.  They really were tough and fast paced.  Easton held his own, and ended up pinning him!!  The second kid was from Colorado and only knew 1 move.  THE CHOKE! Poor Easton, was gasping for air because of it.   He ended up getting pinned.   Easton beat the last kid by points and ended up taking 2nd place!!  Way to go Easton!

Mason did such a good job as well. He pinned his first kid (5 or 6 times)!  The next kid was a little tougher but he also won.  He ended up taking 1st!!  He was so proud of himself.   What a confidence booster for him!

After the tourney the weather started to look yucky.  We decided to still head to Arches and at least drive through it.   We hiked to the double arch and then by the time we got to the Delicate Arch viewpoint it was snowing like crazy.  We bundled up and walked to at least see the arch.  It was cold, all the kids were crying, it was great!!

Mason and Swayzie are the best of friends. I just love watching them.  Swayzie will often run over and give him a hug.

Swayzie's fun hairdo!

We signed Mason up for Kindergarten last week.   He did such a great job.  They asked him if he knew what a fork was, expecting him to give a simple answer.  He of course replied, "It's silverware !"   The speech person was so impressed. Mason is already reading and knows a lot of basic math.  Pretty sure he should skip kindergarten and go to first grade :)
Easton was still freezing everyday.  I figured he was getting sick but he never got a fever.  He did start to get a cough.   On the day of wrestling practice he started warming up and couldn't stop coughing.  I got him an appointment and they were sure he had influenza.   He tested negative for it.  So they tested him for Strep.  Once again it was negative.  They decided he had a virus and would have to tough it out.  He ended up getting a fever of 102,7!  Poor kid missed the next 2 days of school, and is still trying to recover from him cough.
Swayzie grabbed Mason's leapster, wrapped a towel around her legs, and found a seat to play!

Last week was Jr. Prom. Justin and I are both on the Prom Committee.   We spent all week working on the decorations and it turned out really well.  The theme was James Bond, "License to Live".   We had to chaperon the dance and had a good time like always!

We closed on our loan and so now the fun can begin. They delivered a load of equipment to set the footers.
The hole is finished, just needs to be leveled and compacted down.

Saturday was such a warm day we spent it outside.   Swayzie was too small last year to really enjoy the outdoors.  She absolutely loved it. she was climbing on everything!   She ran from one place in the yard to the next.

We started to get baby calves.  This one loved the kids. Swayzie and Mason especially loved petting it!
Starting her young on riding motorcycles!

Justin and my dad started to wet the soil so it could be compacted.   Of course, wet dirt can't be left alone so it tuned into a mud fight.   I'm pretty sure I kicked Erik's Trash!

Swayzie loves her babies.   She climbed up in Grandpas chair, and cuddled her baby and played the Ipad!

The first weekend of the month, Justin had conferences in St. George. The kids and I decided to go along. We had a lot of fun, and enjoyed the warmer weather.   It was fun shopping and playing.

Mason has been needing another haircut, but I couldn't talk him out of his mullet.  Good thing he has the personality to go with it!

We watched the Super Bowl at Greg and Jessica's  We ate so much food.  We brought our Bacon Wrapped Little Smokies, Bacon Wrapped Water Chestnuts, and Bacon Wrapped Jalapeno Poppers.  MMM Bacon!!

Swayzie's hair is getting so long.  I love it, but it is getting out of control. I think I'm going to have to take her somewhere to have it styled.
I've been drinking Green Smoothies everyday for lunch.  I love all the things I put in them. Swayzie has really started to enjoy them as well.  When she sees me get the blender out she gets really excited.

The week after we got back from St. George we all got the stomach flu.   Luckily throwing up only lasted 5 hours, and they you felt a lot better.   I ended up getting it Thursday night, and we were supposed to go to Clay's fight on Friday.  I didn't want to miss it, so I got ready and went to work and then up to the fights.  I felt fine, but was so tired.   We had a blast with Steve and Jaylyn Gordon and Ann and Robert.

We had awesome seats like we did last time, and I was so nervous for Clay.  He came out and rocked it though!  He did such a great job!   Everyone was cheering and screaming.  The other team ended up throwing in the towel to end it.  I am so proud of him and that he is doing what he has always dreamed of doing.  I remember talking with him at school during his sophmore/junior/senior years, and him telling me how he wanted to be an MMA fighter.  I knew he had the heart, and he still does.  This kid is going to be going somewhere with this!  Then I guess it's road trips for us to keep watching him!!
(I stole the pictures from Showdown Fights Facebook Page)

Swayzie has became such a good helper...  Organizing my coupons for me!!!

Our loan for our house finally is done.  We ran into all sorts of problems with everything, and were beginning to wonder if it was ever going to happen.   Our builders are coming next week to set up form for the cement.  We have 6 months to get it done.  It's going to be crazy 6 months, but I can't wait.  Justin and my dad spent all day working on digging out the basement.
Swayzie loves putting on hats, and dressing up in clothes!

I went to go get dressed the other morning and found this on my clothes!!  He has been wandering around the Family Room, but is cold and doesn't move fast.  We ended up just moving him to another location in the room.

A friend of mine made Swayzie and I scarves.  Swayzie looked so cute in hers on Sunday!
Ripping out garbage bags instead of wipes!  Moving on up!

The boys loving the fresh dirt that was dug today.  That and it was fairly warm.

Swayzie wasn't sure what to think about the dirt.  She was too small last year to really enjoy it.  After a few minutes she was eating it like a champ.

Not many pictures to update with.   I need to start packing my actual camera around.  Swayzie is at the stage where she sees me turn my camera on my phone and she will run and hide!!  Little Stinker!!!

We went to the Beehive Brawl in Richfield last weekend.  The boys went down with Justin Friday night to weigh in.  Easton decided to drop down a weight class, and he was really worried he wouldn't make it.  But he did! I was so proud of him.  He didn't starve himself but he was careful as to what he ate and he worked hard at the three wrestling practices they had that week.  The boys came home that night, so we could all go down the next morning.  We had to leave by 6:30 a.m.   We got there at 8:00 and didn't leave until 7:00.   It was sure a long day!!!  Swayzie wasn't feeling good and had a fever, so she slept most of the time.  That actually ended up being an okay thing, because I don't think she would have handled 11 hours of sitting otherwise.

Anyway, there was almost 1000 kids there.  It was awesome! They did a parade of the champions before it started and separated the kids by state.   There were kids from all over the west!  Pretty neat to see all these kids that love wrestling at such a young age (15 and under).   Both boys did a great job wrestling.  Especially since they haven't even been doing it a year!   Mason won 2 matches and lost 2, and was in a bracket with 21 kids!   Easton also won 2 and lost 2, and ended up taking 5th place in his bracket!!! He was so excited to get a medal.   Monty and Byron Christiansen both took 1st in their brackets and won a sweet singlet!   It was a fun day, and I'm so proud of my boys and their dedication they put into this.

We have been out of town every weekend since the 1st of December!! It's getting so tiring being gone so much, but it's been fun to be together as a family so much.   This weekend we are headed to St. George for Justin's Winter CTE Conference.

Next weekend we are going to Clay's fight!! I taught Clay all three years of High School, and still stay in contact.  He comes and visits me at work often.  He just started fighting MMA but he is going to be the main event at the fights next weekend.  I'm so excited to go!!! We had a blast when we went last time! So proud of this kid, and that he has followed his dream.
