February

Yep, I'm finally getting around to posting some pictures. So much for my resolution of posting once a week! Anyways, these are the only pictures I took this whole month. After one of our many snowstorms, Justin, the boys, and I went out to play in the snow. We went sledding for awhile, which turned out to be very entertaining! Justin and Mason then decided to go on a snowmobile ride, so Easton and I opted for making a snowman! Easton headed in the house to find carrots for the snowman while I found some rocks (which isn't easy to do in 3 feet of snow). He came out with 3 carrots, as I went to put them in for the eyes and nose, Easton informed me and the snowman got one, and the rest were for me and him to eat! Justin and Mason returned from their ride, and Mason was fast asleep. So he took a nice nap in the hammock! Justin then helped us build a Snow fort, and then had a miniature snow fight!
We had a lot of fun, and we all can't wait for the snow to melt. Today the boys put on their snowsuits and snow boots and went and played in a huge mud puddle, with their sled! I think they were using as a boat, but they ended up drenched and cold. Spring please come soon!

Also, Easton has been going through this phase of always asking questions about getting married and having a wife. He always asks Justin and I where he can find a wife, and if we will come to his wedding, and how he will decide which Temple to get married in. The other day we were going through these questions and I told him, "Easton, don't worry about getting married, just have fun being a kid." He told me, "But I want to get married." I asked why, and he replied, "Because mom, I have been watching you and daddy my whole life, which is 4 years (insert 4 fingers here), and I want to be just like you guys. You are so happy!" I couldn't argue with that one!

I Promise...

DENVER!

I am finally getting around to posting these!! We had a blast! We were gone from Friday until Monday morning! It was amazing to get away and relax and do whatever, whenever we wanted! While there we went to the Avalanche game. It was great. Our seats were only 11 rows up right behind the goalie! Within the first few minutes there was a huge fight, and then 2 more after that! It was great. Justin and Bryan were in heaven the whole time! We also went to the Denver Aquarium. Honestly, if you ever go anywhere near Denver, you must go here! It was so much fun. We got to watch a few guys scuba dive with some sharks, and then we got to feed some stingrays! It was so much fun. Thanks mom and dad for watching the boys, and thanks Bryan and Meghan for going along with us! We are already planning next years trip to Phoenix!
Sorry some of the pictures are super blurry. We took Justin's camera and it is a piece of crap!

We (Meghan and I) decided to suprise our husbands with a trip to Denver to go see the Colorado Avalanche play! We are super excited and will be gone for4 days- which is also during our 6 year anniversary! The best part... we are going kid-less! It's going to be rough, but so worth it! Thanks Mom, Dad, Erik, and Troylynn for helping out!!
P.S. I have some pictures that I need to put up here, but for now, my cord to hook up my camera is MIA......

December Update!

I have had a horrible time at keeping this update, so here it is, all of it! The first of December we went and stayed in Salt Lake City with Justin's family. Each year they get everyone hotel rooms and we trade presents, go shopping, hangout, eat pizza, and stay up super late! We went to Temple Square this year, and had a great time. It wasn't very cold, and the kids loved being able to see the Christmas lights. I had a lot more pictures of the lights and the kids, but when we were trying to print them to send to Kyle (Justin's Brother that is on a mission) They got deleted... There were a few that didn't get deleted, thank goodness!
Mason was not a happy camper!
Our town has a little party each year. It is always something that the kids look forward to. Mason would not have anything to do with Santa all year long, so he didn't get to be in any of the picture. Easton made sure to tell Santa EVERYTHING that he wanted for Christmas!
I was busy getting ready for school one morning and looked out to check on Mason and he had come up with this SWEET way to watch T.V.. Meah was not sure about having him sit on top of her, but it worked for him!
Easton turned 4 this year! It still blows my mind that I have a 4 year old. He wanted a train cake, so that is what he got! Although he had a special request-- it had to be blue! So I colored the cake mix blue- which made everyone have blue mouths, but Easton loved it! Easton was really lucky because he got to got to Pre-School on his birthday, which meant he got to wear a crown and take treats for his class. That night we had a small party for him at home. Love ya Easton!
Easton goes to Pre-School 2 days a week. There are quite a few pre-schools around the county and each year they put together a little Christmas program. It was a lot of fun to go and watch. Easton was pretty embarrassed through most of it, but did sing a little. It was fun to see the things that he is learning in Pre-School and to hear the songs that he has been practicing at home!
Christmas this year was awesome! Both boys have been so excited for it for days!! Mason woke up 3 days before Christmas and asked, "See Santa brought?"! They actually got up at 7:30 which is amazing for them! They had a great time opening presents and was spoiled by everyone! Mason got so overwhelmed with all the presents ( I insist on wrapping everything) that the next morning he still had a few small things he hadn't opened (crayons, toothbrush, toothpaste)! They have loved playing with everything!
Other big news--My brother get engaged over Thanksgiving. Super excited to have Troylynn join our family! Easton and Mason absolutely adore her!
Hope that everyone had a great holiday and that everyone is doing well! I am hoping to get back into the swing of things-posting every week- lots of exciting things coming up in the next few weeks! That I will definitely want to share!

All Aboard!

This year we spent Thankgiving with Justin's family. On the way up there we stopped in Heber to ride the Polar Express. Easton and Mason love trains so this was a super fun experience. They had a great time eating cookies, drinking hot chocolate, singing songs, and visiting with Santa, Mrs. Claus, and the elves! Both of the boys received a bell from Santa that they can both ring to remind them to believe. Easton has already taken his to show and tell! It was a super fun time and I would recommend it for everyone! We are going to make it into a yearly tradition in our home!
Funny story- Easton didn't know what the Polar Express was so before we left we watched to movie. As soon as the movie was over he turned to me and said, "Mom, I really don't want to ride that train, it does too many scary things!" I had to explain that it wasn't the same train and there would be nothing scary!
Justin's family joined with his Aunt's family for Thanksgiving dinner! It was a lot of fun to get to visit with everyone and to let our kids play together. We had a good time!
P.S. Mason is getting to be quite the talker, so I am going to add a section of Mason Quotes on the right under Easton's quotes...
