The first part of January we went to a National Wrestling tournament in Heber City. We took Friday off of work because that is when the boys had to wrestle. They were pretty excited and it was a huge event. They had 14 mats going at the same time. Talk about chaos. It was a lot of fun. The Christiansen's were there and the boys all had fun supporting and cheering each other on. There was a lot of down time in between matches so the boys entertained themselves with their DS. Monte and Easton are in the same grade and really have became good friends.
Swayzie spent a lot of the time napping. It was so loud in there that it was a miracle that she could even sleep.
Mason ended up wrestling 4 times and he only lost once! He did such a great job, and was so quick with his shots. It was a great self-esteem booster for him.
Easton ended up taking 4th, but he did such a great job. He worked hard, and learned so much. We are so proud of the boys and all the work they put into wrestling!
I love mornings when Swayzie wakes up happy. It doesn't happen very often!
Getting all ready for church. I love that her hair is long enough that I can do fun styles.
The boys and Meah wanted in on the pictures. Love all my kids!
Swayzie has found the computer. She will sit at it for a long time. She wiggles the mouse, pokes a few buttons, wiggles the mouse...
Mason has been wanting to grow a mullet since one of our students had one earlier this year. He finally let me get it cut into a faux hawk/mullet look. It fits his personality perfectly. He was excited because the back is finally long enough that it curls up in the back all on it's own!
Swayzie loves her dolls. She found a blanket and climbed up in the rocker to love her baby.
Justin and I celebrated our 9th anniversary! He was so sweet and surprised me at work with 9 roses. Love him so so much!
Watching the Lady Spartans play some Friday night basketball!!! We love our Spartans!
This last weekend we went to another tournament in Juab. It was a smaller tournament, but still a lot of fun. A lot of Emery kids went so it was fun to watch everyone and have the kids cheer each other on. Bryan and Meghan came down and supported the boys.
Mason took 3rd place in this one. He worked so hard, and learned a lot.
Easton took 2nd! It was great confidence booster for him. He has learned how to cross-face people and he is quite good at it!
Grandma celebrated her birthday yesterday and Grandpa bought her cupcakes. All the kids got one, but Swayzie really, really enjoyed hers. It was everywhere!!!
We have another tournament this weekend. The Beehive Brawl in Richfield. Easton has decided he wants to be in the lower weight class, so he is really watching what he eats and weighing himself constantly.
