Waterfall and Haystacks

The other day ( June 2) we decided to go for a hike up to see this waterfall that is above the narrows. Easton insisted on taking his drawing book so he could draw his own picture of the waterfall.
The boys had a lot of fun and loved splashing in the water and exploring around on the cliffs. We also took all 3 of our dogs, who had a blast too!
It was a good time. After we got home a haystack fell on my dad and fractured his left hip. He ended up having to go to the U of U hospital on the 4th and have surgery. They put in a metal plate and 6 screws. He is home from the Hospital now but he can't put any weight on that leg for 10 weeks. We're so glad that he is okay.

So sorry to hear about your dad! I hope he is okay. Those are beautiful pictures! And too funny that Easton wanted to be the artist - how cute is that!!!

Looks like you guys are off to a good start for the summer despite the broken arm and the hurt dad. Take care!
